Who can apply for a CeleMaS Fund Scholarship
How to qualify
To qualify for the scholarship, the beneficiary must meet the following criteria:
- The beneficiary has sat their KCSE exam with an average grade of C- for diploma courses
- The beneficiary has sat their KCSE exam with an average grade of C+ for the BA course.
- The beneficiary must come from any semi-arid area in Kenya, an Orphanage Home, or any of the Nairobi slums.
- Refugees and displaced persons
- People with disabilities
- Letter of recommendation from spiritual/religious leaders or government authorities
- Letter of interest and copy of curriculum vitae
- Copy of national identity /passport documents
- Academic certificates
- Must be interested in and meet Tangaza University College admissions criteria andacademic qualifications to undertake either the Diploma or BA Program.
- Demonstrate commitment to progressing their communities through past and/or past engagements with community outreach exercises.
- Committed to transformational servant leadership with a grasp of moral authority.
Beyond graduation
Upon graduating from CLM – TUC, learners will be welcomed into a powerful alumni network of TUC and TLG. As affiliates of this network learners will have an opportunity to participate in ongoing mentorship and other necessary training. This will enable them to become competent and holistic transformational servant leaders empowered to identify and address needs in their communities for sustainable action.
